Amy focuses her practice in the areas of landlord-tenant law, residential real estate transactions, civil litigation, and estate planning & probate. In law school, Amy interned at the The John Marshall Law School Fair Housing Clinic and at the Illinois Attorney General's Office in the Environmental Enforcement Bureau. She also was a research assistant for Professor Sonia Bychov Green of The John Marshall Law School and assisted in research for Professor Green's journal article, dated 1/1/2011, Currency of Love: Customary International Law and the Battle for Same-Sex Marriage in the United States, 14 U. Pa. J.L. & Soc. Change 53 (2011).
Amy earned her B.A. in English with a minor in French from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, IL in 1994 and her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, IL in 2010. In law school, Amy was awarded two CALI awards.
